Contractor volume blueprint printing — consistent, reviewed, ships today
General contractors and subcontractors don't print one set — they print 10, 15, 20. Bid packages go to every sub. Construction sets go to every trade. As-builts go to the owner, facility manager, and permit authority. Every set in every order is printed from the same file, reviewed by a real technician, and shipped same-day via UPS. Volume doesn't mean less careful.
When You're Running Jobs, Printing Slows You Down
Coordinating sets, tracking revisions, managing sub deliveries — printing should be the last thing you're thinking about. We remove this entire problem.
What contractor volume printing requires
-
1Single clean PDF for the entire orderUpload one complete PDF for all sets. We print all copies from the same file — ensuring every set is identical. Don't upload separate files for separate sets unless you're ordering different drawings for different recipients.
-
2Correct sheet size for all setsConfirm the required sheet size before ordering. ARCH D 24×36 is standard for most contractor orders. All sets in a single order print at the same size. If different recipients require different sizes, place separate orders.
-
3Verify page count before uploadingLarge multi-sheet PDFs sometimes have pages accidentally duplicated or omitted during export. Use our free page counter or the scale checker to verify your PDF has the correct number of pages before ordering a 20-set run.
-
4Revision level — confirm before orderingHigh-volume orders should use the current revision level. Ordering a large bid package and then discovering it's the pre-addenda version requires reprinting the entire run. Verify you have the correct revision before uploading.
-
5Set count and recipient listKnow how many sets you need before uploading. Count recipients: GC, each sub by trade, owner representative, project file, permit authority. It's easier to add sets to an order before printing than to reorder.
-
6Delivery — single address or multipleAll sets in a single order ship to one address. If you need sets delivered to multiple addresses — job site, office, GC office — place separate orders or contact us for multi-destination orders on large volumes.
What goes wrong — and what we catch
These are the most common failure points we see — and what we check for before your set ships.
High-volume orders often include mixed color and B&W sheets across a single set. Color pages are detected automatically per sheet — every set gets the same color/B&W distribution, and you only pay color rates on sheets that have color.
