Identical Sets · One Upload · Same-Day UPS

Multi-set blueprint printing — identical sets, every time

Upload once. We print as many complete, identical sets as you need — reviewed before any run.

Permit sets, bid packages, construction documents — they all require multiple identical copies distributed to different recipients. Every set must be exactly the same: same pages, same scale, same revision. Upload your PDF once, specify the set count, and we print all copies from the same file. Every set reviewed before we run any of them.

🎨 You only pay for color where it exists. Mixed sets handled automatically — color pages detected per sheet, B&W pages at the lower rate. No manual selection, no overpaying.

The real issue

One Bad Set Breaks the Job

A missing page in one set. Wrong revision in another. Mismatched sheets. The problem doesn't show up until someone in the field doesn't have what they need.

📋
One set missing a page — that sub can't price that scope
A subcontractor receiving a bid set missing the mechanical drawings can't price mechanical work. Their bid is incomplete. The discrepancy shows up after you've already distributed the package.
🔄
Wrong revision in one set — that recipient builds the wrong thing
One set from the current revision, one from before the addendum. Two recipients pricing or building different work. The discrepancy is discovered in the field — after work is done.
📏
Mismatched sheets undermine trust before the project starts
A GC or sub who receives a set with inconsistent sheets — different scale, different revision — wonders what the rest of the project will look like. That impression sticks.
Every set is identical — guaranteed
All sets in a single order are printed from the same digital file. We review the file before running any copies. Every set that ships is printed from the same source, in the same order, at the same scale.

What goes wrong when this is done wrong
One inconsistent set among many creates the problem you were trying to avoid.
Physical assembly errors produce non-identical sets
Copy shops assembling large sets manually produce sets that aren't identical — one set gets 47 sheets, another gets 45. One set has page 12 twice and is missing page 18. We print digitally from a single file. Every set is identical.
One wrong-scale set in the distribution causes confusion
If one subcontractor receives a set with a wrong-scale sheet, they price the work based on wrong dimensions. Their bid doesn't match the others. The discrepancy is traced back to the set they received.
Revision mismatch across recipients
Distributing some sets from the current revision and others from a previous revision — because different copies were made at different times — means different recipients are pricing or building different work.
Missing pages discovered after distribution
Finding out that the permit authority's copy is missing the plumbing drawings after the application has been submitted. The application is returned. You reprint and resubmit — back to the end of the queue.
Every one of these is preventable with a file review before printing. Upload plans → get exact price in seconds →
Before we print your set
This is what separates us from every other printer
📐
Scale is verified
We confirm the print actually measures at the stated scale. The #1 rejection trigger — caught every time.
🔄
Orientation is checked
Landscape drawings that exported as portrait — caught before a single sheet runs. Not after it arrives.
📋
Missing sheets flagged
A set missing one sheet gets rejected whole. We review page count and order before printing.
🚫
FedEx doesn't do this
FedEx and Staples print what you upload. We're the last line before rejection or fabrication failure.
Requirements

What multi set blueprint printing requires

  • 1
Single complete PDF — all pages in the correct order
Upload one PDF containing all pages in the correct order. We print all sets from this single file — page order, page count, and content are identical across every set. If your PDF has pages in the wrong order, every set will have pages in the wrong order.
  • 2
Verify page count before ordering multiple sets
Check that your PDF has the correct number of pages before uploading a multi-set order. A missing page in the source PDF means every set is missing that page. Use our free scale checker to verify page count and scale before ordering.
  • 3
Confirm the set count before uploading
Know how many sets you need before you upload. Adding sets after the order is placed requires a separate order — we can't easily add to a production run in progress.
  • 4
Sheet size consistent across all pages
All pages in a multi-set order should be the same sheet size. If your drawing set has some pages at 24×36 and some at 18×24, contact us before ordering — mixed-size orders require coordination.
  • 5
Delivery address — one address per order
Multi-set orders ship to one delivery address. If recipients are at different locations — GC office, owner office, job site — place separate orders or contact us for multi-destination arrangements.
  • 6
Revision level — verified before ordering
Confirm you're uploading the current revision before ordering any multi-set run. Reprinting an entire multi-set order at the correct revision is expensive and time-consuming.
Common Problems

What goes wrong — and what we catch

These are the most common failure points we see — and what we check for before your set ships.

Most impactful
Source PDF has a missing or duplicate page
A PDF with 47 pages when the drawing set should have 48 produces 47-page sets for every recipient. Every set is wrong in the same way. Our pre-print review catches this before production begins.
Common
Wrong revision level for the entire run
Ordering 12 sets of a drawing at Rev 1 when Rev 2 was issued yesterday. Every recipient gets the outdated revision. Verify the revision before ordering any multi-set run.
Frequent
Page order wrong in the source PDF
Pages 14 and 15 transposed in the uploaded PDF means every set has pages 14 and 15 in the wrong order. The error is consistent across all sets — and easier to catch before printing than after.
Common
Wrong sheet size for the distribution
Ordering 10 sets at 18×24 when the building department requires 24×36. All 10 sets print at 18×24. The entire run needs to be redone.
Avoidable
Sets needed at multiple addresses ordered as one
Planning to split a single 15-set order between the office and the job site. All 15 ship to one address. Plan distribution before ordering.
Frequent
Color pages printed B&W in multi-set orders
MEP coordination sheets that include color printed in B&W across all sets because color wasn't specified. Auto-detection catches this, but verify your file contains color pages before confirming.

🎨
Smart color detection — you only pay for color where it exists
Mixed sets? No problem. Color auto-detected per page.

Mixed color and B&W sheets in multi-set orders work seamlessly. Color pages detected automatically per sheet — every set gets the same color/B&W distribution. You only pay color rates on sheets that have color, multiplied by the number of sets.

Civil sheets in color — detected
Architectural B&W — lower rate
MEP color overlays — color rate
No guessing — automatic per sheet
Typical order size
2–25 sets per order
Permit sets: 2-4 sets. Bid packages: 5-15 sets. Construction CDs: 8-15 sets. As-builts: 2-3 sets. All sets in a single order are printed from the same file and ship together to one address. Count recipients before ordering.

Multi Set Blueprint Printing FAQ

Common questions about multi set blueprint printing.

All sets are printed from the same digital file. We don't print some sets from one version and others from another. The file is reviewed by a technician before any printing begins — if there's a missing page, wrong scale, or orientation issue, we catch it before running any sets. Every copy that ships is printed from the same source.
No maximum. Upload your PDF, specify the number of sets, and get an instant price. For very large orders (50+ sets), placing the order earlier in the day helps ensure same-day processing. Contact us if you need to coordinate a large volume order.
Yes — this is exactly what our color auto-detection handles. Color pages are identified per sheet in the uploaded PDF. Every set gets the same color/B&W distribution. You only pay color rates on sheets that have color, multiplied by the number of sets.
Single orders ship to one delivery address. For sets that need to go to multiple locations, place separate orders with different delivery addresses. Contact us for large-volume multi-destination arrangements.
Use our free scale checker — it shows you the page count, page dimensions, and scale notation for every page in your PDF. This catches missing pages, duplicate pages, and wrong-scale pages before you order a multi-set run.
Yes. Multi-set orders ship the same day as single-set orders if placed before 12 PM EST. The set count doesn't change same-day eligibility. Larger orders (25+ sets) should be placed earlier in the day to ensure same-day processing.
